Hispanic Heritage Keynote
Hispanic inventors who changed the world

Hispanic inventors have contributed immensely to our society. What would the modern world be without color television, intravascular stents or concrete buildings? Not an easy place to imagine — and each of these advancements was the brainchild of a Hispanic inventor with an amazing story of overcoming adversity to bring their creation to life.
This speech was created in commemoration of National Hispanic Heritage Month. Why a speech about Latino inventors, scientists and creativity? Because it's important to reflect on our roots to appreciate the present and embrace the future. Creativity combined with execution is the most powerful force in any endeavor — and once you look carefully, it's everywhere.
Everyone has ideas. The successful execution of those ideas is what allows some people to accomplish feats that transform humanity. These Hispanic inventors — many of whom toiled in obscurity — have incredible stories worth sharing to catapult inspiration and achievement.
